In 2011, we had a vision of the future of business and the challenging times that lay ahead for aspiring business professionals and the Institutions that trained them. We realized that the global business environment has become so much more complex, and that technology, economics and market dynamics are deeply entwined.
Frankly, we realized that MBA programs are inadequate for the jobs that await aspiring management professionals. The MBA’s value as a training program for managerial talent was waning, companies were finding it hard to find recruits who could hit the ground running and be productive from the first day on the job. Day Zero productivity was the demand, and B-schools across the world had failed in supplying that capability.

The ITM - Group of Institutions has also taken the lead in developing meaningful academic associations with world-renowned Universities and business schools, with the aim of promoting research and development of new programs, exchange of faculties and the constant benchmarking of its academic processes.

Through this association, ITM is able to benchmark the program design and curricula of its various programs, engage in collaborative research and new program development. In addition, students enrolled in our programs have the opportunity to complete the course with our foreign universities allowing exchange of knowledge.
The much awaited ‘Mentor Mantee Meet’ was organised by The Department of Human Resources on 18th May and was graced by Dr. Lakshmi Mohan, Director, Dr. Saritprava Das, Dean-Academics, Dr. Snigdharani Mishra-HOD, Department of Human Resources, Prof, Rachna Nigam, Prof. Preeti Narendra, Dr. Tanvi Rana, Dr. Sonal Jauhari, and all the invited mentors. A good number of students also turned up in the open forum session that discussed about the current HR trends and the changing role of HR Managers in an organisation.
An activity named “My Managerial Grid” was conducted to assess students readiness in taking on the leadership roles. The participants receive personal feedback & tips from their mentors for becoming better players.
The department of Human Resources inaugurated today long awaited “ITM’s Wellness Centre” by our chief guest Mr. Ashish Joshi, Regional Head Sales, Nivea and Guinness Book of Records Holder Marathon Runner. The Wellness Centre laid its foundation by conducting Mandala Art Workshop by HR student-Medha Shree. The session witnessed enthusiastic participation by the faculty members.
