Industrial Visit to KELLOGG’S FACTORY AT TALOJA
On a sunny December morning, we, the students of PGDM-IB (2019-21) had the privilege of visiting the Kellogg’s factory at Taloja, Maharashtra, as part of our curriculum. Here’s what we gleaned from our industrial visit. The factory at Taloja, reputed to be numero uno in the Asia-Africa zone, had concluded its Quallywood Safety Week recently (November 24, 2019) and also celebrated turning a quarter of a century old the same month.
Evolution of Logistics in Chemical
Chief Guest Speaker: A guest lecture was conducted by Mr. Miliend V Sawai, having professional work experience with multinational Organization at various capacities in the field of projects, production, sales and marketing, business management in specialty Chemical Industry Domain. He has pursued his B. Tech in Chemical Engineering from LIT, Nagpur.
Report on the first day industrial visit
Institute for technology and management, Kharghar arranged industrial visit for marketing 5 batch on Thursday and Friday i.e. 19/12/19 and 20/12/2019 to Galaxy Surfactant, Taloja. Galaxy Surfactant is one of the leading players in the world of surfactants and speciality care ingredients, exclusively focussed on catering to the home and personal care industry. On the first day of the visit the first thirty-two students as per the attendance sheet visited the company.
Guest Session on Supply chain management in pharma industry
Supply chain management is the core of all business activities. In order to sustain this competitive world, Dr. Arloph gave us a brief idea about supply chain management practices in the pharma industry. Having a work experience of 33 years in the pharma industry, Dr. Arloph has worked in various companies such as Cipla, Shalina labs, Flammingo, Koran labs, Mycare labs, etc.
