You can do PGDM after you have completed graduation and passes one of the following common entrance tests CAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT, ATMA, GMAT and state CET tests as per the AICTE guidelines.
PGDM (postgraduate diploma in management) course is offered by the institute not affiliated to any university. The institutes are autonomous and the course is approved by AICTE. The course offers an industry-relevant syllabus.

The PGDM course is a combination of academics and personal and professional development programs. The education course is supported by the skills training program and the two run concurrently.

The education course consists of lectures, assignments, projects, group discussions and more. The course offers industry interface through industry visits, guest lectures and workshops.
The course includes a five-month full-time paid internship. The candidates get to work on research projects and handle business operations aided by the faculty.
The course includes a one-month NGO project as CSR (corporate social responsibility) has become a core value of many companies. The candidates learn how the NGOs work for the betterment of the people. The candidates have to work for a social cause.
