The PGDM programme is a two year full
time programme divided into six terms.
The number of compulsory and elective
courses in each term is as given in the
table below:

In addition, three compulsory
courses I) Yoga & Pranayama
II) Stress Management and III) Self discovery
each carrying 4 credit points will be
taken up in the First Year.
Summer project
In addition to 38 courses
the students are required to complete
one summer project.
The summer project is
to be undertaken at the end of the first
year (i.e. first three terms) during May
and June for a period of 6 to 8 weeks.
The summer project has to be necessarily
assigned by some company, however, for
summer project the students have to work
under the guidance of an ITM faculty.
Unless the students complete the summer
project and produce a certificate to that
effect from the company they are not allowed
to register for the second year of the
programme.
The student has the option
of working on social project involving
community service with a government recognized
and well known NGO. The work has to be
supposed with photographic evidence and
project report, certified by the NGO.
These projects will be monitored by Centre
for Social Initiatives in Kharghar.
Professional Development Program
(PDP)
The PDP has been designed to inculcate
and improve the leadership qualities,
organizational capabilities, awareness
towards social responsibility and team
spirit among students. The program design
is announced separately in the beginning
of the each academic year. The grades
scored by the students in PD program are
shown in their third and the sixth term
mark-sheets.
Foundation Course:
The program begins with a four week foundation
course consisting of the following six
subjects:
- Communication Skills
- Indian Ethos in Management
- Accounting & Finance
- Mathematics and Statistics
- Computers
- Economics
- Case Analysis
- News Analysis
Term Arrangement
Foundation course is followed by three terms
in the first year and three terms in the second
year. Each term consists of thirteen (13) weeks.
The only vacation / holidays the students get
are for 10 days during second / fifth term at
the time of Diwali. There are no other long duration
vacation / holidays in ITM system.
