Program
Objectives:
- To bring about excellence in Technical Education

Eligibility:
Master's degree in Humanities/ Commerce/ Science/ Management
/Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture/Pharmacy from
a recognized University with 60% marks or equivalent.

Preparatory
Program:
The candidates will undergo a preparatory program for
a period of six months in the designated Campuse of ITM
such as; Navi Mumbai, depending upon
the choice of the candidate.
The preparatory program will involve course work in four
subjects, viz.
- Systems Approach to Management
- Research Methodologies
- Quantitative Methods and Applications
Any one of the following course based on the choice
of research area opted by the candidate:
- Advanced Operations Management
- Advanced Marketing Management
- Advanced Finance Management
- Advanced Human Resource Management
- Advanced Econometric Methods
- Advanced Computer Applications

Classes
will be held for two days on weekends only.
After the completion of the coursework, the candidates
will appear for a comprehensive written examination in
each course and viva-voce examination to be conducted
jointly by a team of experts from BIT and from ITM
|

Ph.D.
Registration
After successful completion of the comprehensive examinations
both written and viva-voce, the candidates will be allowed
to register as doctoral students to undertake thesis/dissertation
with BIT.
For registration with BIT ,the doctoral students will
submit a research proposal under the guidance of appropriate
Research Supervisor/s to BIT through ITM. The candidates
will be governed as per the norms, regulations and fee
structure of BIT as applicable to Ph.D Programme from
time to time. The BIT will be the final examining and
degree awarding authority to the doctoral students.
