Management Team

Under the able guidance of the Dean, Wing Cdr. A.H Babu (Retd), and Dr. B.S Patil, the Director, there are 10 full-time faculties who mentor and guide the students towards achieving their dreams and shape their careers. Wg. Cdr. Babu joined the Air Force after completing his M.A, Master’s in Social Work (MSW) and XLRI degrees in the Training wing and was posted as Director, Air Training Command at the time of his taking Voluntary Retirement. He joined ITM Business School, Bengaluru as its Director in 1992, and has served with distinction as the Dean of three Southern campuses in Bengaluru, Chennai and Warangal, from 2002. From June 2004 he has been appointed a Trustee of the ITM Trust.

Dr. B.S. Patil has done his M.A. in Economics (1994). He has received his M. Phil. in Economics in 1998, and got his Ph.D. in Economics from Karnataka University, Dharwad. He also has an MBA from Bharatidasan University in 2007. Dr. Patil worked as Researcher at the Centre for Multi-Disciplinary Development Research (CMDR), Dharwad and Institute for Social and Economic Change (ISEC) Bengaluru. He has more than a decade of experience in teaching at reputed B-Schools in India. He is an active researcher and has published several research papers on issues related to Labour, Economic Development and Liberalization policies. He teaches Managerial and Macro Economics, Marketing of Services, International Business and Entrepreneurship Development.

The Chennai campus has 25 full-time faculties in addition to several visiting faculties, led by Dr. G.K. Sharma, the Director and also a Professor at the school. The faculty are highly qualified, most having completed their MBAs, some having completed their PhDs, and others currently pursuing their PhDs. Dr. G.K. Sharma, MA, PGDIT, MBA, PhD, has an experience of 20 years in the corporate sector in senior positions and 11 years in academics as a Professor. He has also taught for about 10 years in IIMs as a resident visiting faculty. His areas of specialization are International Business Strategy, International Marketing and Cross-Cultural Management. He is on the panel of consultants for UNCTAD/WTO/ITC, GENEVA among others.

The Dombivli campus is currently headed by Dr. Vinod V. Sople. He is also heading a Center for Supply Chain and Logistics Research at ITM Business School, Navi Mumbai. A Ph.D holder in Management, Dr. Sople has worked with the industry for 22 years at various positions in various functional areas. He has an academic experience of 12 years and has been associated with ITM for the last 11 years. He has been teaching Marketing Management, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Marketing Strategy, BPO, IPR and other subjects. He has also written six books titled: Logistics Management, Managing IPR, Legal Aspects of Marketing, BPO, E-Marketing and Supply Chain Management respectively. He is a Chief Editor of 'International Journal of Business Insights and Transformation' and 'Supply Chain Pulse'.

The ITM Business School, Hyderabad has some of the best trained faculty in the country, led by Dr. D.K. Srivastava, the Director. An M.Com gold medalist and IIM Ahmedabad trained faculty with over 27 years of experience in teaching, research, training and consultancy, Dr. Srivastava has worked with premier Institutes like the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai and Shri Ram Centre for Industrial Relations and Human Resources, New Delhi.

A team of highly experienced core faculty members, with diverse academic and industry backgrounds provide students with high quality inputs. In addition, a carefully selected group of visiting faculties bring much needed real-world exposure to students of the PGDM program The Director of ITM Business School Nagpur is Dr. Mrunal K. Asher, a Ph. D holder in Business Administration (Marketing) from the University of Mumbai in 1979. He has 24 Years of Industry Experience covering three reputed pharmacy companies and eleven years as a Management & HR Consultant. His academic experience includes 13 years with NMIMS (Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies), Mumbai as a Visiting Faculty and 2 years as a Core Faculty with AICAR Business School and ITM, Navi Mumbai. Under his able guidance, students of ITM Business School Nagpur can rest assured about making excellent progress in their careers.

Led by Director Dr. Ganesh Raja and Academics Dean Dr C.S. Adhikari, a team of over 30 full-time faculty bring their tremendous industry expertise and academic  excellence to deliver top-notch academic inputs, helping the students take big strides in their professional lives at ITM Navi Mumbai.

Dr. C.S. Adhikari, has completed an M.A., a Ph.D in Economics and is currently the Dean (Academics) of ITM Business School,Navi Mumbai. He has more than 30 years of experience in teaching, research and consultancy primarily in the areas of rural development and poverty alleviation. He has more than two dozen papers published in national and international journals, several research and consultancy projects sponsored by the likes of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), NABARD, SIDBI, Govt. of U.P., Govt. of India and CIDCO Navi Mumbai, to name a few, to his credit.

Dr. Ganesh Raja (Director), has a Ph.D in Marketing and a Master’s in Marketing Management from the Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS) and is currently the Director of ITM Business School, Navi Mumbai. He has over 21 years of experience in the Service industry. He was associated with Credit Market Services Limited (a Financial Technologies ecosystem venture), Bahrain Economic Development Board as Country Manager for India and Dun & Bradstreet and was part of the start-up team that orchestrated the India launch of the company. In his engagement with the ITC Welcome Group he was responsible for market development and several product launches.

ITM Business School Warangal is led by Dr. T. Dayakara Rao, the Director, a PhD in Managerial Economics with over 25 years of teaching experience, and 15 highly experienced full-time faculties, along with several visiting faculties enhancing the careers of the students with their rich experience and insights. Dr.T.Dayakara Rao did his M.Phil and Ph.D at the Gokhale Institute of Politics & Economics (GIPE),Pune. He was a UGC Junior Research Fellow at GIPE and was later awarded a one year scholarship to study at the Warsaw School of Statistics &Economics under the Indo-Polish Cultural Exchange Program.

In his vast experience of 25 years spent teaching post-graduates in various B – Schools he has taught courses in Economics, International Finance and Research Methodology. Dr.Rao started his academic career at IIM –Ahmedabad as a Faculty Research Associate. Later he held various positions in university /institutes like: South Gujarat University-Surat, Vignana Jyothi Institute of Management-Hyderabad, ICFAI Business School-Hyderabad, GIDC ROFEL Institute-Vapi, Gujarat, Institute of Business and Training (IBAT)-Bhubaneswar, Institute of Science and Management (ISM)-Ranchi. He has published several research papers in reputed National journals. He is a recognized guide for the Ph.D Program of many universities in the country.
