At most MBA schools around the world, aspiring managers commute to their classes
and then scatter to their disparate lives.
On the other hand, ITM'ites sleep where they
study, live where they learn and play where they work. With an average daily
load of 12+ hours in classes, after-hours group study and project work- ITM students
live in a 24/7 environment, an immersive experience that defines ITM Masters programs.
Naturally, all ITM campuses are designed to be fully
residential. The PGDBM program especially has a Residency compulsory policy. In
some programs, especially those which attract experienced and working students,
residency is optional- though highly encouraged.
ITM Navi Mumbai is a fully residential campus,
with separate hostels for men and women. Separate hostel facilities are offered
for men and women. A campus shuttle bus service transports students between
their hostels and the campus, located just under 5 minutes apart. The shuttle
service is available from 6.30am to 12.30am
on all days.
Hostels
are laid out in apartment style, in 2BHK
or 3BHK layouts, with attached bathrooms
and study areas. The Men's hostel is located
inside a large housing complex, allowing
for a more community-interactive and family
oriented atmosphere. Over 90 apartments
spread over this large complex house the
male students of various programs
Taking
into account the increased number of women
students joining ITM Navi Mumbai, The
Institute has acquired a new dedicated
Women's hostel building. Housing around
150 female students, the hostel building
has been setup as a safe haven, with 24/7
security and a hostel warden on premises
at all times. In addition, a dedicated
recreation room, convenience store and
enclosed compound add to the comfort of
the residents.
The
Institute is also developing a new hostel
building, to house over 300 students,
to be completed in 2005. |
