Summer Internship
Evaluation of Summer Internship
- The students are required to submit a comprehensive project report for their summer projects.
- ITM Faculty evaluates the project report in terms of its quality and subsequently the same is presented before a panel of experts.
- The students will have to appear for a viva.
- Some of the outstanding summer projects are rewarded through a special certificate of appreciation to the students.
In addition to 33 courses the students are required to complete one summer project in the months of May - July in Term IV and a Capstone project in the months of January - April in Term VII
The summer training is aimed at providing exposure to real life-working environment. Though the summer project has to be necessarily assigned by some company, the students have to work under the guidance of an ITM faculty as well. Unless the students complete the summer project and a certificate to that effect is obtained from the company by the institute, they are not allowed to register for the second half of the program.
