Post Graduate Diploma in Management- International Business
24 months AICTE approved full-time program along with study at Groupe ESSCA, Hungary and EDHEC, France as part of student exchange program
In seven years since the launch of the Post Graduate Diploma program in International Business, ITM has seen significant validation of its objective- to develop a cadre of managers trained in the concepts and details of global business.
India has firmly and irrefutably established itself at the forefront of economic and social revolution in the world. With a burgeoning middle-class armed with billions of dollars of discretionary income, a young and ambitious workforce and the increasing improvement of its infrastructure and regulatory environment, few MNCs can expect to compete without creating an “India” agenda. Indian companies themselves, emerging into the harsh light of open markets have transformed themselves into Multinationals, extending their reach into international market.
In such a volatile environment, prospective managers require more specific and detailed training and education, focusing not only on standard management theory and operational knowledge, but also on globally sensitive business operations.
The fast track schedule of the program provides individuals with crucial insight on all aspects of international business emphasizing operational and strategic dimensions of international management, marketing, trade, commerce and investment.
This program ensures that students are trained to understand markets and international operations of companies, and also equipped with the practical skills needed to operate effectively in global contexts.
Intensive curriculum
The students are presented with a thoroughly researched, well-sequenced curriculum. A total of 7 terms, including a European Study Term completes the program. Starting in the 1st term with management fundamentals and basic research and study skills, students take on upto 10 subjects per term, studying a wide scope of management subjects with international focus.
A unique European business experience
The focal point of the program is the 3 months intensive program starts with induction model and foundation course along with a two day of personal growth, a three month European Study Term. The program takes students to France and Hungary, to be trained by international faculties and directly exposed to the realities of business operations in the EU and eastern Europe.
In France, the group joins an international group of post-graduate students from top US and Asian business schools at the Nice and Lille campuses of renowned EDHEC Business School. EDHEC’s European Summer Program immerses students into the business environment of the EU- covering the regulatory, market and economic environments as well as providing first-hand insight into the operations of selected companies through industrial visits.
On to Budapest, Hungary, where the group attends a customized “Doing business in Europe” program conducted by Group ESSCA, a Grande Ecole institution. The Budapest Summer Program focuses on the nuances of business practices in Central and Eastern Europe, through company visits, interactions with executives from top corporates and intensive classroom interactions with international faculties.

Post Graduate Diploma in Management- Human Resource Management
24 months AICTE approved full-time program
The Era of Post Globalization is dominated by efforts directed at internationalisation of our economy. Global competition is fast becoming the standard for today’s marketplace. In this scenario, the focus of organisations is on continuous u-gradation to global benchmarks. This calls for a non-stop renewal of organisational direction, structure and capabilities to serve the ever-shifting marketplace.
In this context, the Human Resource function has to transcend its conventional role of policing the establishment to being a strategic partner in business.
Modern business demand the HR function to contribute more than ever to organisational success determining the overall HR strategy, developing indicators of HR health and performance and measuring achievement, planning and managing renewal of organisations as well as providing development opportunities to enable the organisation to stay agile.
Traditional HR curricula focus on the organisational and administrative aspects of the function, which has outlined the need for HR specialists who can tune into business strategy, operations and financial processes and help to determine the business and personnel requirements essential for transformation of the HR function into a strategic enabler.
The Post Graduate Diploma program in Human Resource Management was conceived with this requirement in mind. The Curriculum is continously updated.
The program prepares students to maximize their impact on the most vital resource of the organisation - its human resources. It presents powerful tools for analyzing strategic alignment and for enabling a top-management team to lead needed organisational change. It also provides a fresh perspective on the role of HR executives and their function as change agents in partnership with top management.
Today, HRM plays a cardinal role in building a competitive “Edge” in the organisation to confront market conditions and future trends.
Through a mix of pedagogical tools like lectures, group discussions, assignments, projects, business simulations and cases presented in a learner-focused environment, the HRM curriculum equips participants with relevant subjects, models, frameworks and tools to develop a competent Human Resource function that enables them to deliver sophisticated and contemporary systems and services to the organisation.
Extensive industrial interaction through high profile HR conferences and ITM sponsored seminars, which are a special feature of this program.
