1. What are the key differentiators of ITM

ITM is the pioneering self-financed MBA College started in 1991 in Mumbai. In 1991 there were only about 50 MBA programs in the country. After ITM started this program as Industry oriented, constantly evolving and dynamic program, there was a big growth in demand for MBA's from Industry. There are now over 1400 recognised and 1000 unrecognised programs. In this period ITM has achieved top rank, of being in the Top 20 among over 1400 institutes. ITM runs AICTE approved, CAT affiliated 2-year Full time MBA in Navi Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai and Warangal/Hyderabad campuses.

2. What are the courses and specialisations that ITM offers?

Our flagship program is the AICTE approved 2-year MBA, offered in Marketing, HR, Finance, Systems, and Operations Management specialisations. In Hyderabad we offer special programs in MBA(Pharma) and MBA(Retail), as well as one year IRDA approved insurance management program.


3. In what numbers and spheres is the campus recruitments take place?

We get 100% placement, with at least 2 or 3 job offers for each student. the recruiters come from all sectors of Industry and Business - IT, Consultancy, Automobile, Pharma, FMCG, Hotel Groups, Export Houses, Leisure & Travel, Real Estate, Banks, Insurance Companies, Software etc.,

4. What are the skill sets that you look for in a prospective student?

Now a days the skill sets that MBA student needs to graduate are well known. The MBA program it self has become a commodity. ITM has developed a key Strength that the product is seen as the perceived value addition in the eyes of a future employer and the society, community and family that is served by the students after graduation!

5. In what ways do you train the outgoing graduates to suit industry trends?


Industry Domain knowledge is provided by projects, Industry visits, Guest lectures, using practical case studies, Consultancy projects, Industry contact events like Brand Score, BizQuiz, Manaquest, etc.,

6. How important are the soft skills for aspiring graduates and how do you rate them in 1 to 10 scale?

Since Hard skills have become generic and almost all colleges can deliver them the key differentiator is the Soft Skills area - EQ
instead of IQ, Art of Communication and Empathy, Yoga and Self-discovery, value based management practice, Principle-centred
Leadership development etc., I personally rate this as 70% of the program importance!

7. A word for the young graduates looking out for career guidance ?

In India, all sectors of the Industry and Business are booming. Do what you do with passion and principle. Hard work is taken for
granted. Unlimited achievement goals, balanced with value based conduct of personal life is the way for success!
