The National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology Joint Entrance Test (NCHMCT JEE) is a national-level hospitality entrance exam for admission to BSc programs in hotel management and catering technology (Hospitality & Hotel Administration). The exam is given once a year by NTA on behalf of the National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology (NCHMCT). NCHMCT, in collaboration with the Indira Gandhi National Open University, offers a three-year BSc (HHA) program (IGNOU). All participating institutes recognize the NCHM JEE score for admission to the BSc (HHA) courses provided by their respective institutions.
The Institute of Hotel Management (IHM) accepts NCHMCT JEE marks for admission. There are about 21 central IHMs, 25 state IHMs, 1 PSU IHM, and 27 private IHMs associated with NCHMCT and offering BSc (HHA) degrees, with admission dependent on NCHMCT JEE 2022.
NCHMCT questions are asked in both English and Hindi. The exam lasts 180 minutes in total, and all questions are multiple-choice. Numerical Ability and Analytical Aptitude, Reasoning and Logical Deduction, General Knowledge & Current Affairs, English Language, and Aptitude for Service Sector are all covered in 200 questions.
