Wishing you all a very happy International Day of Yoga!
The word ‘Yoga’ is derived from the Sanskrit root ‘Yuj’, meaning ‘to join’ or ‘to unite’, Yoga is that medicine that has the power to cure any disease of the Universe, even those which cannot be cured by the prescription of Doctor. Including Yoga in everyday life is one of the healthiest practice people can ever make. It not only makes you physically well but will calm your mind and soul, hence on the event of International Yoga Day, ITM-IHM Nerul had taken an initiative to unite the students by conducting a Yoga session. Students were so excited to attend the session that we got overwhelming response as compared to last year. To spread awareness about yoga day, two of our own students delivered introductory speech for everyone. The session was to help students reduce stress level, increase concentration and calmness in oneself. Yoga also creates fitness and good body postures which is a necessity for our hospitality students.
Special thanks to ITM-IHM faculty Megha Ma’am for conducting yoga practice session for our students today. This is a small effort towards making Yoga a part of every one’s life.
We hope this would help students in their academic as well as personality growth.
