On 29th June 2021, Mr. Chintan Oza (PMI Mumbai Chapter) and Ms. Priya Patra (VP Outreach, PMI Mumbai Chapter) conducted a session for ITM students. The students were from Operations Management and Supply Chain Management (OMSCM 20-22) batch.
Prof. BVR Murty and Prof. Gayatri Kaple joined for the session along with the students.
Ms. Priya Patra started with a formal welcome and explained the activities of PMI, Mumbai Chapter followed by an over-view of the G.R.O.W initiative.
G.R.O.W stands for Guide Raise Options and Way. It is a new initiative by the PMI Mumbai Chapter to help students to learn and understand the importance and techniques of Project Management and make the students industry ready.
G.R.O.W initiative is a youth focused initiative and helps students to learn more about project management techniques. In this program the students will be mentored by the industry experts which will give them a valuable real-life learning experience and eventually give them an edge over other students.
The G.R.O.W. module will be facilitated by PMI Mumbai Chapter along with industry experts over the next 6 to 8 weeks.
We sincerely thank Mr. Chintan Oza and Ms. Priya Patra for organizing such a wonderful session and enlighten us with the project management knowledge.
