ITM Kharghar’s Data Freak Community has organized peer mentoring sessions for Decision sciences for the students of the academic year 2022 - 2024 under the Workshop wing of Data Freak Community for ITM Business School, Kharghar’s students. There were more than 40 registrations for the session.
The main motive to conduct these sessions was that the students were having their semester 1 examination and decision science is one of the most important subjects which has all the statistical concepts which are useful for analytics. So, the seniors of Business Analytics took the initiative of giving the students practice sums and clearing their doubts regarding any specific topic.
The topics covered in the decision science peer mentoring sessions were:
- Correlation
- Hypothesis testing
- Anova
- Linear regression
- Multiple linear regression
Practice sums were given to the students for practice and had some interactions in the sessions by asking them to solve a concept for all. The sessions were taken by Prathamesh Gunjal, Jitesh Asodekar, Karan Shukla, Sri Sai Venkata Durga Prasad Bonthu and Snehal Janorkar from the Business Analytics batch of 2021-2023.
