Details of the PGDM syllabus

The course is a two-year full-time program. It includes an NGO project which every candidate has to participate in. This teaches the candidates social responsibility. The candidates have to work for a social cause.

There is an internship with focused on-the-job training. The candidates get to work directly with the industry.

It offers classroom teaching through focused insight sessions and case-based and live projects. The faculty has an industrial background and also includes industry experts. It consists of mentoring on communication, values and life skills.

The course offers global immersion, rural immersion and local immersion in retail management. There is a 10 day Singapore internship program with Nanyang Technological University which offers global immersion experience. The rural immersion experience is through rural research projects. It teaches retail and marketing techniques by making the candidates run a live store at a mall which offers local immersion.

The candidates completing this program can find careers in the retail business and the services marketing field.

Eligibility

The eligibility for the program is a bachelor’s degree (10+2+3) with a minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying examination, The candidate has to appear for any of the following entrance tests MAT, XAT, CMAT, CMAT, ATMA, GMAT and state  CET tests as per the AICTE guidelines.
