GLOBAL ACADEMIC PATHWAY: YOUR GATEWAY TO STUDY, WORK, AND SETTLE ABROAD
ITM IDM has partnered with three globally renowned design institutions to help
students achieve their international academic and career aspirations. Our B.Des
programs are aligned with these institutions, allowing students to transfer
academic credits earned in the first two years and complete their degree abroad.
This pathway opens doors to graduation, post-study work permits, and career
opportunities in Canada and the UK, offering students a holistic global
education experience.
Here’s How It Works:
Students become eligible for an international transfer after completing the first two years of the ITM IDM B.Des program. They can transfer some or all of their earned credits based on their academic performance, allowing them to join the second year of the partner institution's program and graduate within 18-24 months.
This pathway offers significant cost savings. Students pay ITM IDM’s standard INR fee structure for the first two years, leading to approximate savings of INR 30 lakhs per year while gaining access to global education and career opportunities.
After graduation, students qualify for a 2-3 year Post-Study Work Visa, with job placement support from the institution. They also have the opportunity to apply for Permanent Residency (PR) or extend their visa, opening doors to long-term career prospects abroad.

ITM IDM’s collaboration with MMU enables B.Des students in Visual
Communication, Interior Design, Fashion Design, and Animation & VFX to transfer to
MMU in their second year to complete a Bachelor of Arts degree or choose an
International Top-Up Degree after three years at ITM IDM.
