Mr. Shabbir started his career with Eureka Forbes subsequently he joined Reliance Infocomm and his last stint was at Idea Cellular pvt. ltd. presently he is working as an Entrepreneur & is based out of Pune. He has a corporate experience of more than 2 decades.
The session started with a game & he told us to take a sheet of paper & requested to close the eyes & follow his instructions. It was a great example to teach us about Managerial Listening. He talked about Managers & Leaders, how they can help employees to achieve their tasks. They try to understand Customer needs in the best possible manner.
“Salesman are the one who listens well & tries to provide the needs of Customers”. He gave an example about Eureka Forbes. The company was established in the year 1982. They launched the product VACUUM CLEANER in two cities Delhi & Mumbai with only 25 Sales Representative & later they developed another product WATER PURIFIER in the year 1987.They introduced the concept of Direct Sales which demonstrated the product directly to the customer.
In the earlier times when Eureka Forbes started in 1982, media doesn’t play an important role in business but in Modern World they have started doing advertisement & promotions to know about the product & expand further.
