Ganeshotsav at ITM !

A Spectacular Ganpati festival was celebrated with great grandeur across ITM campus in Navi Mumbai and Mumbai. A very good day for students to seek blessings of bappa; ITM

‘ites left no stone unturned to make it BIG with fantastic decorations, yummy prasad… aarti chants mesmerizing the entire holy

environment. Lived with the belief of Tilak’s encouragement, the festival facilitates community participation and involvement in the form of intellectual discourses, poetry recitals, performances of plays, musical concerts, and folk dances.

We too had various cultural programs with

the guidance and support of faculty like dancing,

singing, mono acts… in full swing with colors and enthu rocking the campus premises.

The beloved 7ft tall & 350 kg weighted idol of Lord Ganesha was worshiped with happiness, purity and immense feelings by entire ITM family for 5 days.

“Ganpati Visarjan”, which symbolizes a ritual see-off

of the Lord in his journey towards his abode in Kailash while taking away with him the misfortunes of all man. All joined in this procession shouting “Ganapathi Bappa Morya, Purchya Varshi Laukariya” (Lord Ganesha, come soon next year). Now we are waiting for Ganapti to come back to ITM campus next year.
