Our ITM Institute of HEALTH SCIENCES team organised an excellent community initiative today at HARIGRAM, Panvel on the occasion of RAMNAVAMI. They set up a first aid centre and a basic medical check-up camp on site there as nearly 1500 plus devotees came together to form a part of the day-long celebrations.

Ram Navami is celebrated with great religious fervour at Shantikunj-VCT, Harigram-Panvel every year, with more than 1500 devotees participating.

Our aim was to provide first aid services to devotees and also share about our campus facilities by distributing our information flyers.Event was ​extremely well managedby eight students from Nursing, Faculties from Nursing (Mrs.Renjini, Mrs.Jahnavi patel), staff from Marketing department (Mr.Manohar and Mr.Rahul), Mrs.Ranjana Mhatre (MLT department), Mr.Sujit Bhosale, Mr.Chinmay chavan & guided by ​Mr.Kiran Rane (​Registrar) and Mrs.Meenal Rane (Principal, Nursing department) at the site.

​Our Nursing team attended ​to ​devotees who  wished ​to check their blood pressure and ​counseled them on ​other health related issues.
Our marketing team distributed flyers to all devotees and given information about available courses in our campus.

Prof R S S Mani​,​ Vice President -Institutional Development,​ ITM Group of Institutions said proudly that ITM Institute of Health Sciences is well known for its community connect in Navi Mumbai. He mentioned that the ITM IHS campus is already running a charitable dispensary, eye care centre and also a community dentistry centre. Such activities sensitize students to the ground realities in the community and also make them more responsible citizens.
