ITM, Kharghar witnessed a successful Faculty Development Programme on effective case writing and teaching on 9th and 10th of May, 2019 with Prof.Doris from Chennai, flying all the way to Navi Mumbai to give actionable insights into the concept of case development.

After a warm welcome extended by Prof.Prachi Gupta, Head-CaseBox, the case developing initiative of ITM, Kharghar, Prof.Doris, who had authored more than 250 successful cases, elucidated the intricacies of writing a case.

The encouraging number of participants gave rise to the optimistism that, CaseBox would be a concrete success.

The resource person Prof. Doris, on the first day, threw sufficient light on all the pointers that one had to consider while developing a case. The appropriate case structure and the teaching notes to be prepared were discussed at length with every query handled efficiently by Prof.Doris.

On the second, she refined all the 31 proposals presented by the participants across domains which enabled the prospective case writers to identify the gaps in their proposed study for an effective and improvised outcome.

While summing up, Prof.Doris also introduced the prospective avenues of publishing the cases to the inquisitive audiences.

The Director and the Campus Head, Dr. Lakshmi Mohan, profusely thanked Prof.Doris for having empowered the faculty with all that it took to be a successful case writer

It was indeed an exciting learning experience for all the aspiring case writers on the campus and the corporate who had attended the programme.
