Digital Marketing workshop:
On January 19th ,2019, Department of Digital Marketing & Transformation organized a workshop on Digital Marketing Trends at ITM Business School, Kharghar. The workshop was conducted to enlighten about the latest trends of Digital Marketing & to learn and identify career opportunities in the field of Digital Marketing. It was attended by over 150+ students from different colleges, majority of them were final year undergraduates.

Mr. Abhay Mokal:
Marketing Manager, Vertoz
Mr.Abhay Mokal believes in keeping the marketing strategies more focused towards the customer rather than on sales. He holds a Diploma in Advertising & PR from Welingkar Institute of Management. He has over 7 years of experience in Advertising, Digital Marketing, Social Media Management & SEM, SEO Marketing activities. He is also a guest faculty for the marketing department at ITM Kharghar.
The workshop was attended by the students from various colleges of Navi Mumbai & Mumbai along with ITM Social Media Team & IT & Analytics Department. Sarit Prava Das, Dean -Academics, ITM Business School, Kharghar gave the welcoming speech and emphasized that there is a demand for digital in the market and this demand is driving every sector towards the world of clicks & likes.
Prof. Kalpana S Kumaran (HOD, IT & Analytics, ITM Business School, Kharghar) gave the opening speech and welcomed all the guests. She encouraged on acquiring new skills and opportunity in Digital Platforms.
The welcome speech was followed by the presentation of Mr. Abhay Mokal (Marketing Manager, Vertoz). He explained the ever-changing world of Digital Marketing and the opportunity to discover, learn & choose the best for a business. He believes that the business world would be fully on the digital platform in the upcoming years.

The activity was followed by the presentation of our next guest lecture, Mr.Nitin Gurumukhani( Online Marketing Manager, People Interactive). He explained the importance of Timing, Knowledge, Commitment & Consistency in today’s world, various scenarios in today’s social media world & opportunities in the Digital World.
