The 6th edition of Corporate 2 Campus was organised successfully on 28th Sept. 2018 at the ITM Kharghar Campus. This one day event is meant to felicitate the Guides and Mentors of various companies for their support and guidance during the 5 months Industrial Internship Program(IIP). This internship period is a time when the final year students of ITM work as an intern in an organisation. From the past 5 years ITM is organising the Corporate 2 Campus event to show gratitude towards the corporate guides.

It is a formal event with a unique theme. Every year the theme of the event changes. This year the theme for Corporate to Campus was “Health and Wellness”. “Health” a major issue of corporate life was discussed in this event. All the cultural performances were based on the theme of the event.

“Corporate 2 Campus” was diligently organised. There was a soul to it, a soul that was vibrant, contagious and exuberant. The faculty members and student co-ordinators put in a splendid show. The esteemed guests present at the felicitation event came from establishments like Aditya Birla, L&T Finance, Reliance Jio, Profectus Capital, Digicore, HDFC Bank, Symbo Insurance, MSD, Suryoday Small Finance, Liberty General Insurance, Indian Oil, Curion Education LTD, Jumpstart Solutions, Kols & Peers, Reliance Retail, DHL India, DC consultants to name a few.

The event commenced with a performance of Yoga “Aarogyam” by the students of batch of 2017-19 followed by an insightful Panel Discussion with Prof. R.S.S. Mani

(VP-Institutional Head, ITM Group of Institutes) as the moderator. The panelist included Mr. K.V. Srinivasan (Director & CEO, Profectus Capital), Mr. Pradeep Karyakarte (CEO & Director, Symbo Insurance Broking Ltd.), Mr. Alok Sheopurkar (Executive Vice President & Head HR, HDFC Mutual Fund), Mr. Bijendra Vats (Director HR, MSD India). The topic under consideration was “Health & Wellness culture at Corporate”. The panelist spoke about the health related issues that the person working in the corporate world faces. They also mentioned how they are tackling the health and wellness issues in their companies and personal life together.

During the event the Guests were felicitated with a small token. The main highlight of the event was a skit “Corporate Ke Sholay” a satire based on the iconic movie Sholay. The event included a musical performance showcasing the mental and emotional health, a song mash up, Wellness Mantra in style – a Fashion show and “BOKWA Workout Regime” performed by the students of the batch of 2017-19 and 2018-20.

The event came to an end with a Thank You Note by Prof. Prachi Gupta (HOD- Marketing). She in her address thanked the Guests for taking out the time from their schedule for attending the event and the whole team of Corporate 2 Campus, thereby concluding the event on a pleasant note.
