  • Step 1- Scan the syllabus and Exam pattern
  • Step 2- Attempt Mock test/ Previous years papers to figure out your weaknesses and strengths
  • Step 3- Devote a minimum of 3-4 hours a day for XAT preparation

Age limit

There is no limit for candidates to be eligible for application in XAT exams. As long as the eligibility criteria is met such as the education qualification and nationality, any one can apply for this examination

Negative marking

Every correct answer carries 1 mark each and for every wrong answer 0.25 marks are deducted. A candidate cannot leave over 8 questions unattempted. All questions over 8 if not attempted will carry a penalty and 0.10 marks will be deducted. Though a major relief is that there is no negative marking scheme in General Knowledge section

Decent score

A score of 34-35 marks can give around 95-96 percentile in XAT exam

XAT is taken into account harder than different Master in Business entrance exams. Its rating pattern of +1 marks for every correct answer and -0.25 mark negative marking makes it troublesome to attain on the far side 35-40 marks.
