Top MBA entrance exams in India 2022-23
CAT
The Common Admission Test (CAT) is a national-level MBA entrance exam administered yearly by IIMs once a year. The official website has already published the CAT 2022 exam details and dates. The CAT entrance exam 2022 will be administered by IIM Bangalore.
The exam duration for CAT 2022 is two hours, and candidates must answer three sections: verbal ability and reading comprehension (VARC), data interpretation and logical reasoning (DILR), and quantitative aptitude (QA). The MBA entrance exam has sectional time limits. IIMs do not provide an official CAT syllabus, and candidates must plan their CAT preparation strategy based on the previous year's exams.
CMAT
Another national-level MBA entrance exam is the Common Management Admission Test or CMAT. The MBA entrance exam date for the year 2023 admissions will be conducted by NTA in online mode, tentatively in the second week of April 2023. The CMAT exam pattern specifies that the question paper will have four sections that must be completed in three hours. XAT
The Xavier School of Management in Jamshedpur annually holds the Xavier Aptitude Test to select candidates for MBA/PGDM programs. On January 8, the MBA entrance exam 2023 will be administered via computer. According to the XAT 2023 exam pattern, the paper will consist of four sections that must be completed in three hours while keeping the negative marking scheme in mind.
IIFT
Indian Institute of Foreign Trade is a national-level MBA entrance exam, the results of which are used to determine admission to the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade's MBA (IB) program. The National Testing Agency will administer the IIFT 2023 exam via computer. The exam will last 120 minutes and consist of four sections, according to the IIFT 2023 exam pattern. There will be no sectional duration, but negative markings will be applied to each question.
SNAP
The Symbiosis National Aptitude Test, administered by Symbiosis International (Deemed University), is one of the National MBA Entrance Exams 2022 in India.
Candidates who take SNAP 2022 will be able to enroll in one of 16 Symbiosis institutes that offer MBA/PGDM programs. SNAP 2022 registration begins on August 4. Candidates should review the SNAP 2022 eligibility criteria before registering.
NMAT
The Graduate Management Admission Council, or GMAC, administers the NMAT, a national-level MBA entrance exam. The NMAT is the only exam that allows students to retake it three times. The number of questions has been reduced to 108 from the previous year's NMAT exam pattern. Previously, a total of 120 questions were asked across all three sections. NMAT participating institutes in 2022 are those institutions that accept NMAT scores. Aside from the 29 institutes in India, 7 institutes in South Africa and 5 in the Philippines accept this MBA entrance exam scores for admission.
MAH MBA CET
The state-level MBA entrance exam MAH MBA CET is held to provide candidates with admission to colleges in Maharashtra State. According to the MAH MBA CET 2022 exam dates, MAH CET will be held on August 23, 24, and 25, 2022.
MAT
The All India Management Association (AIMA) administers the Management Aptitude Test (MAT) four times a year for admission to approximately 600 B-schools across India. The MAT exam 2022 is a national-level MBA entrance exam held in February, May, September, and December.
ATMA
The ATMA exam is administered four to five times a year by the Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS) to provide online admission to the MBA program. Over 740 B-Schools accept ATMA scores in India to admit candidates to management programs.
