The Retail Lab
ITM retail marketing and management has a complete student-centric approach and a curriculum specially crafted to meet the needs of the booming retail industry in India. In order to ensure that student has hands on experience with various aspects of retail and to encourage creativity and research into retail, ITM has created a “Retail Lab where students get a chance to: Simulate a store and get hands-on experience with setting up a store.
Learn the basics store formats-layout, merchandising, marketing, retail operations, etc. Practice and learn various aspects of the retail business including operations, marketing, merchandising, facilities management etc. Try out innovations in various aspects of retail including VM, store promotions etc. Inculcate People skills, selling skills, Creativity and Research. Work in groups, compete and learn to manage within limitations. Gain opportunities to be mentored by and work with the seniors and industry experts.
