Theory in Action

The Hypercity-ITM PGP in Retail is a full-time, 18-month postgraduate level program for graduates; prior work experience is not mandatory, but preferred.
The Hypercity ITM Post Graduate Program in Retail (PGP Retail) is an MBA equivalent qualification jointly designed, delivered and certified by ITM Global Leadership Centre and Hypercity Retail India Ltd- in a unique integrated corporate-academic format.

 

Paid Training and Internship

For 8 months, from the second semester onwards- students will work a part-time schedule at Hypercity, while attending classes. The last 6 months will be a full-time paid internship.

During the days spent at Hypercity, the students will be engaged in a manner that leads to practical application of subjects learned in the classroom. This will mean working both on the store floor as well as in back office activities including buying and merchandising, marketing, Inventory, IT, Supply chain, etc.

The program will be taught by faculty of ITM GLC and HyperCITY Managers and Trainers. In addition, during the training and internship periods, interactive sessions will be held within HyperCITY, as a way to seamlessly merge the on-job experience with the academic content.

Guaranteed placement with HyperCITY

At the time of being offered admission, candidates will be given an offer of full-time employment in the Management Trainee cadre at HyperCITY. The offer is conditional on the successful completion of the program and satisfactory performance in the internship periods.
