Resource Center

Resource Center is to facilitate creation of new knowledge through acquisition, organization and dissemination. It brings together traditional library services with multimedia facilities. It has rich collection of printed/electronic books/journals/audio visuals/case studies and reports along with array of fashion materials for students to browse. Institute subscribes International & national fashion journals. Online fashion fore cast & trends is being subscribed by the institute to train the students.

Design Studio

Design Studio center is dedicated to culture of lateral thinking. This is the place where students innovate and create to generate designs and fashion products. This lab consists of fashion / design archives. Here you can explore your identity with mix of colors and blends to create the style statement and soft boards allow you to display the best of your work.

Garment Construction Lab

The latest in apparel manufacturing machinery, trimmings, fittings, pressing machines are available here for students. The lab in-houses overlock machines, button hole stitch, collar and cuff turning machines along with cutting.

The institute offers hands on training on story boarding, pattern engineering, marker making with traditional techniques and later on with tuka tech technology and other softwares for enrichment of students.

Pattern lab

The Pattern Making Lab has single needle high end mechanized sewing machines. The students get specialized training in cutting, sewing and displaying the garments constructed by them. There are vacuum ironing tables and fusing machines to facilitate finishing of garments.

CAD Lab

CAD lab provides the IT- enabled learning environment with objective of developing computer savvy professional. The lab is well equipped with latest design software and hardware. It provides work station to student with Internet facility to do research work.

Classrooms

IFDT has well equipped air conditioned classrooms with LCD screen and audio-visual aids to enhance the learning experience.

Auditorium

Well spaced auditorium to host the events like Fashion Show/Presentations /Seminars/Student Fest/Workshops is available to students all through the year for gathering and sharing information or for celebrating the events and festivals.

Conference Room

20 seater conference room is available for students to present their work and share thoughts. Here students can share and collate information in professional way and come up with project ideas.

Canteen/Cafeterias

On-campus cafeterias serve full meals and snacks. The food is never a problem since our hospitality students run a professionally managed canteen for all the students on campus. The students will get to be part of big team of ITM student community at this campus and also enjoy savoring delicacies of the expert chefs.
