International Conference “Business Excellence In Turbulent Times”

Introduction

Managing uncertainty is a new business imperative. Technological incoherence, regulatory disruptions, geopolitical surprises, abrupt swings in consumer tastes or behaviour, and several other factors have emerged or intensified in recent years and together conspire to undermine even the most carefully constructed business strategies. For many business leaders, today’s economic climate is awash with change – volatile, often unpredictable, and always daunting. How do companies, new or established, prosper in an environment where funding is drying up and bankruptcies are on the rise? How to retain existing customers and attract new ones, when people are inclined to save money than to spend it? Equally important, how do executives ensure their employees remain engaged when they are perplexed about their future? This International Conference aims to provide inclusive platform to industry practitioners, academicians and students to share new ideas on managing business in turbulent times.

OBJECTIVES

The conference intends to provide a platform for academicians and business leaders to revisit and reconsider how to function and sustain in turbulent times. Guidelines for paper submission

Pre Conference Workshops

As part of the conference, several workshops will be organized on February 17th, 2017 at ITM. These workshops will provide an opportunity to explore several specific topics in depth and will be linked to sub themes of the conference. The workshop participants will have the privilege to attend the conference, avail opportunities for meeting and talking to industry representatives, prominent speakers and scholars in attendance. Intimation to attend these workshops will be communicated to the participants after completion of their registration.

*** For the first 30 registered paper presenters /delegates from each of the sub theme categories, the conference registration fee would include the fee of workshop.

These workshops would be conducted at our campus on February 17, 2017 from 9.30am to 12.30pm. The details of the workshops on different sub themes are as given below:
