Full Time Executive PGDM (Corporate Finance and Investment Banking)

The Executive PGDM (with focus on Corporate Finance & Investment Banking) is an AICTE approved 15 months full-time program.

The program has been developed from a seed idea- "To deliver focused and advanced actionable knowledge to professionals from the Finance and Banking sectors, enabling them to perform and compete at the highest levels of the industry". Combining the experience of ITM Business School’s highly reputed full-time Post-graduate programs, with the expertise and infrastructure provided by ITM, this program delivers a blend of business management and financial markets knowledge.

ITM operates a Business Simulation Lab (a real- time markets trading room) situated in the BSEL Tech Park, Navi Mumbai as a Technical facility. Utilizing such facilities and extensive research and reference libraries, the program provides participants with globally relevant, up-to-date training.

The curriculum is brought to life by a selection of experienced faculties and market experts, in highly interactive participant driven sessions. Outside the classroom, students will experience interactions with senior market professionals, top officials of banks and FIs and training by International experts.

General Course Design

12 months program to be divided into 4 terms: 3 on campus term and one term project/field work. Over the 3 teaching terms, the curriculum moves through a base of core courses, building up to specialized electives. The program is designed to be a Full-time, non-residential course of study.

Program Structure

Each course consists of 24 teaching sessions of 90 minutes each. The program is designed as a full time non residential program with 4 lecture sessions in a day for a 6 working days in a week. In addition the student would be exposed to the practicing world through talks and seminars from the practitioners, visit to financial markets and institution, stock market games and Work shops and Seminars in Finance and related subjects.
The program starts from 15th July 2008 and 30th September 2009

3 months field based dissertation

1.Minimum 700 contact hours on campus, 100 hours of field based projects or organization based assignment with the prospective employer.

Internship in venture capital/investment banking/corporate finance department of listed Company or field based projects/organization based assignment with the prospective employer.

Eligibility

Graduates from any discipline from a recognized university with at least 50% marks and having Test Scores (CAT/GMAT/XAT/GRE etc.)
5+ years work experience with a provision to accord due weightage/relaxation for the relevant experience/ Professional (or) Post Graduation qualification. Persons who have completed intermediate examination of CA/CS/ICWA/CFA/CAIIB will be given experience relaxation.
